They have not yet begun to fight! Pizzicare, Reginelli's, Theo's, Crescent Pie and Sausage, Midway Pizza, Slice, Dough Bowl, Louisiana Pizza Kitchen, Ancora and PIzza Delicious, that is. All these fine pizza establishments organized a grassroots pizza revolution in order to put NOLA pizza on the map. Participants grabbed a pizza passport at any of the participating locations, visited each, rated their favorites and turned in their completed passports for the chance to win Jazz Fest tickets! It was a smashing success and the winners were crowned in the following categories:

Favorite Slice, Hand Tossed, 504ness, Deep Dish, Thin Crust, Creative Pizza, Beer List, Service, Sauce, Atmosphere, Specialty Pizzas, Community Partner, Toppings and Overall Greatness

Look out for the next war to break out!

The TOD Group designs transit-oriented developments (or TODs). We were able to work with TOD Group on the promotion of their most recent development, Clear Creek Transit Village in Denver, Colorado. This guide outlines the progress already made at Clear Creek and the return on investment if someone were to contribute toward the completion of the project. It was a pleasure working with TOD Group and we hope to work together again soon!

Paying homage to the classic, yet fresh, Restaurant Patois and its celebrated menu was indeed a tall order. The web presence is a delicate balance of the refinement and comfort found at this quaint neighborhood favorite. Among the site's features is the art+farm+friends photoblog — a slideshow of Chef Aaron Burgau's delicious finds at the local farmers' markets and a list of some of his favorite spots and people around town. This site came together with the help of Lorin Gaudin, New Orleans Food Goddess who managed the site content. We couldn't have had more fun working with Chef Aaron and the whole Patois crew. Visit PatoisNola.com.

The 2012 Hogs for the Cause extravaganza was even larger and hoggier than 2011! Scroll through to see work from both years. This New Orleans-based non-profit combating pediatric brain cancer raises thousands of dollars every year at their annual High on the Hog cook-off. These funds benefit support services for families affected by pediatric brain cancer. All design and brand representations were derived from the newly established brand vision: Hogs for the Cause
believes every child deserves a healthy, happy childhood. Jorge Menes generously donated his time and talent for
a photo shoot with the kids. Please visit hogsforthecause.org to get involved.

A TAG shower is like parking a Mercedes in your bathroom, except more useful. These showers provide hydrotherapy — the use of water to revitalize, maintain, and restore health — to top spas around the world. Preprogrammed shower sequences provide specific therapy — stress relief, muscle tension relief, body toning, invigoration, and anti-cellulite hydrotherapy. Sign yourself up for one of these, my friends!

This project's name may seem hauntingly familiar. The father and son team at TAG also asked us to do a redesign for the parent company — TAG Studio. When we met with Taylor Galyean about the site's core message, he didn't hesitate; these spas are carefully planned, with spa guests and spa operators in mind. TAG Studio's been designing top of the line spas since 1986. Their site speaks volumes about their integrity and expertise.

Thinka worked with everyone's favorite meat man, Henry Albert, to develop a rebrand for Rare Cuts, a high quality meat purveyor in New Orleans, Louisiana. A truly unique shop, Rare Cuts sources its product directly from small farms and ranches, as well as a couple of local wholesalers, and the meats on offer are generally only available in restaurants.

The quality of the product and the dedication of Henry and his team quickly became the heart + soul of the brand platform. The project was large in scope. Together, the team produced the brand elements, applied them to business cards, banners, in-store communications, and a new online market. The largest site in our portfolio to date, rarecuts.com was an exciting challenge. Henry's team included the skills of Mark Westguard, who programmed a site that includes e-commerce, a host of recipes, a "steak matrix" (it's awesome, try it), and plenty of great information. We also outfitted their twitter page @RareCuts! Explore the site at rarecuts.com or stop in at the flagship store on the corner Nashville + Magazine to enjoy the Rare Cuts experience.

The Ain't Nothin' but a Party! debutante invitation was as fun as it looks. It's easy to get inspired by the art of Frenchy and the music of New Orleans brass bands. The invitation is designed to emulate an old 45 record in order to carry through the theme.

Haik and Terrell Eye Clinic and Thinka worked together to express their trustworthy and friendly office culture in a new website. We had a blast talking with their patients and getting to know the doctors and staff. Site features include a nifty meet us page, some glowing testimonials, and downloadable patient forms. Jorge Menes provided the eye-popping photography. Check out the site at haikterrelleyeclinic.com!

MVB, The Most Valuable Burger, is a pop-up restaurant that operates out of Slim Goodies on Sunday nights. MVB is all about celebrating the burger and inviting others to do the same. The pieces we have developed, including logos, posters, business cards and packaging, embody a confident, passionate camaraderie.

Check back soon for more MVB work.

Now closed, but forever in our hearts, Huevos was a cute little breakfast joint in Mid City New Orleans. They came to us in 2010 for a cute little site to match. The site included the dine-in and catering menus for reference and provided a hub for the online overnight pickup system. Clickable info-eggs from the homepage allowed you to explore your breakfast options. We also provided a place to sip on the Huevos Twitter feed via the tweet mug, and a Facebook toast for the latest specials. It was great fun and we hope for a Huevos comeback at some point.

Emmett's Fine Meats and Seafood is a homegrown butcher shop in New Orleans, LA. Thinka created an identity
based on Emmett's dedication to customer service and a quality product. For more on Emmett and his shop,

Team Sheepshead!
We designed these jerseys for a local baseball team named after the toothy fish found in these parts.

Menus imitating pizza boxes – a recipe for fun. These menus are screen printed on corrugated cardboard and are
sturdy enough to stand up to the day to day restaurant rush! We were tickled to death when they showed up on FPO's website — check it out!
